Moroccan Carrot Salad by Paula Shoyer
In December 2018, our family went to Morocco for vacation and took a cooking class outside Marrakesh. For years I had chopped my carrots for this salad into circles, but our teacher, Chef Tariq, said that the classic method is to cut the carrots into cubes.









MADA (Magen David Edom – Israel’s equivalent of the Red Cross) put out an announcement that there is a blood shortage in the country, so our beloved principal at AMIT Elaine Silver, Zippi Harpenes, as a true role model, was the first in line this morning in Beersheva to donate blood.
