Chicago

The 900-plus-member strong Chicago Council has been a part of the Jewish community for more than a half-century, raising at least $250,000 a year to support AMIT. We have grown and changed with the times to accommodate the interests of today’s women, couples, young professionals and families. The council includes chapters for a variety of age groups.

With members located in Chicago and the northern suburbs, the council’s long history includes annual gala dinners, Mother-in-Israel celebrations, NewGen events, our popular Shavuot bake sale and the Chanukah boutique that has run for over 30 years.
