What We Do

AMIT is transforming the educational landscape in Israel with its cutting-edge, Jewish values–based education. Our 91 schools, youth villages, and surrogate family residences in 29 cities across Israel provide more than 42,900 children from diverse backgrounds equal opportunity to fulfill their potential. AMIT’s innovative educational approach (called Gogya) upends traditional learning: Teachers become knowledge facilitators, students become more engaged and responsible for their education, and classrooms become open spaces that enable individual or group study. The aim is for all students, regardless of gender, socioeconomic or religious background, to achieve academic excellence within a framework of Jewish values.
