AMIT Pre-Army Students No. 1 at First Autonomous Car Competition

Israel held its first national competition dedicated to programming and building autonomous cars this week, and the team from the Lewis and Wolkoff Preparatory Army Program at the Gloria and Henry I. Zeisel and Family Junior College at Kfar Blatt came in first place.
AMIT Elaine Silver to open to pre-army junior college

A new pre-army junior college will be opening at the AMIT Elaine Silver Technological High School in Beersheva, and it will play a critical role in helping the Israeli Army maintain its advanced computer systems. As the first co-ed training college of its kind, it will also play a critical role in helping young women train to become computer technicians and engineers.
AMIT teachers get prestigious Education Ministry award

Seven AMIT educators were recently recognized at “teachers of the century” by the Education Ministry’s religious education administration. Each of the seven were lauded for the devotion to their students, for their professionalism, for being key individuals who contribute to the schools where they work and to the students they nurture and teach.
AMIT girls aim to ease ER wait times

Going to the emergency room is never fun and often requires hours of waiting. To help ease that process, students at AMIT Wasserman Torah, Arts and Sciences Junior High School for Girls recently developed a device that would gather and save a patient’s medical information and distribute it among medical staff treating that person.
