AMIT Israel Spotlight Session #2: AMIT’s Community of Co-Ed and Secular Schools – Bridging Divides, Building Community

The girls at AMIT Wasserman Torah, Arts and Sciences take part in an annual race, and this year they dedicated it to the memory of Ella Or, z”l, who was killed in the flash flood that struck southern Israel last month.

Last week, we had the privilege of welcoming representatives of the U.S. Embassy in Israel at two AMIT schools in Petach Tikvah: Yeshivat AMIT Eliraz High School and AMIT Menorat HaMaor Haredi Track.

More than 1,000 students in Sderot and other Israeli towns bordering the Gaza Strip had to take the English bagrut exam this week, just as tensions were flaring up in the area.
