Who I am in 99 words
Sarit Samuel, married to Yaniv, mother of three wonderful children and educator of an amazing master class, middle school math coordinator, and five-unit math professional teacher. I have always tried to be innovative in teaching methods and technological tools. To make teaching accessible, I have acquired many tools, such as the “water” that allows the classroom to be interactive (like a computer screen). Teach students optimally from a distance. I believe that any child can; we just need to aim.

The computer helped me deliver lessons in a way that closely mimics instruction. The students realized the need for open cameras, and so I was able to deliver lessons for multiple hours that even slipped into the night. Even when we returned to teaching closely, some students had to stay in isolation, and a reality was created where I had to address both the students who stayed at home and the students who came to school. For this purpose, I connected the computer to the classroom board and wrote with the supporting pen so that whoever was present in the classroom saw through the board, and whoever stayed at home saw the computer way. In this way, I was able to address everyone.
Inspirational character
My dear parents, Uri and Zehava Burns. My father has been teaching for 42 years. Throughout the years, I have seen in my father a devotion that has no bother and evil. This dedication is manifested in endless investment and true love for each and every student. My mother was a teacher for 35 years, and all these years, she worked hard to educate the little ones in a way full of values. Undoubtedly, her ability to run a Jewish home and work with a smile at the same time was and is a winning formula for achieving the goals.
Motto for life
There is nothing that stands in the way of desire. Every student should first and foremost believe that he can, set goals for himself and strive to achieve them. Throughout the years of teaching, I have seen students who have taught me how adhering to a goal leads to achievement and excellence. A small but big example from life: a student who was placed in a courage class in a three-unit math study track believed he could go beyond that. After completing three units of study, he asked to be placed in a class of four units. Passed the two questionnaires with great success in the eleventh grade and in the twelfth grade asked to access five units and finished his matriculation with a final grade of 98.
A teacher in Corona is
Have a mission! During the virus (which will soon pass over us, with the help of the name), I felt the need more than ever to address the students, even during the small hours of the night. The boundary between home and work has blurred but is accompanied by a sense of satisfaction. I was able to perform several tasks simultaneously: zoom lessons for students, exercises into the night, building interactive tasks, advanced training, self-study of operating applications and software I did not know, and all this while being a wife and mother of small children.
