Students in 9th grade from AMIT Kfar Ganim in Petach Tikva raised money and packed more than 150 food packages for poor people before Pesach.
Gil S. exclaimed, “After so much time at home where we weren’t able to see each other face to face, they offered us this option of helping others. Right now, we were so happy to be part of a project that allowed us to help – an experience and a mitzvah at the same time.”
Rav Nitzan Berger, at Rosh HaYeshiva said, “We were happy to see that the entire grade united for this important project from collecting money to packing the packages and sending them out for delivery. It was easy to recognize the great joy on the faces of the students, a simple joy that comes from getting together to give and to perform chesed.”
