An app that provides a solution to the problem of disabled parking. The solution will allow, through a barcode identification, to check whether a vehicle in disabled parking is authorized to park in it and if the vehicle is not authorized, the information will be reported directly to the authorities.
Disabled people who are perceived by people who are not disabled is a common problem. By unauthorized vehicles being parked in disabled parking lots, they are preventing people who really need these parking spaces from parking in these parking lots. By law, it is forbidden to park in these parking lots without a disability certificate, but unfortunately, the police do not have enough resources to enforce this law effectively and hence the need to improve this phenomenon.
The ParkWatch app will allow people to report offenses of this type in a simple and simple way from their smartphone. Users will be able to photograph the license plates of vehicles parked in these parking lots and are not authorized through the app (the test is performed using access to the database of authorized vehicles), and it will be sent
Them directly to the police. ParkWatch is a joint venture with the Israel Accessibility Association. The partners, Amit and Israel Accessibility intend to contact various parties to assimilate and disseminate it that will be widely used. We will contact municipalities, mall chains, hospitals, etc. so that near disabled parking there will be signage guiding and referring to the app to report in case and encounter such a problem
