Special needs students from Yeshivat AMIT Kfar Ganim recently took part in a mountain bike race with hundreds of other students from across Israel. They faced challenging trails and weather conditions and demonstrated their determination and resilience throughout the competition.
Since the start of the school year, the Kfar Ganim students have been training and developing their riding skills in a course guided by instructor Tzuri Dar. The course enables them to unleash their inherent talent and strengthens their belief in their abilities. It also cultivates their love of the land by bringing them out in nature.
The competition was held in the Lahav Forest in the northern Negev, and the Kfar Ganim students placed in the top 10, despite strong winds and cold weather conditions.
Nitzan Berger, the school’s principal, said, “We are incredibly proud of our talented students on this important achievement, which proved—first and foremost to themselves—that they are capable of successfully handling every challenge that comes their way.”
