Huge Win for Team AMIT at Jerusalem Marathon!

With tremendous enthusiasm, energy and in high spirits nearly 300 AMIT students, teachers, principals, staff, and supporters joined together at Friday’s Jerusalem Marathon in support of AMIT’s Frisch Beit Hayeled, a foster home which serves 120 children ages 4-14 who need a warm and loving safe refuge.

Leading Team AMIT were the young women of Midreshet AMIT who, together with alumni from around the globe, were cheered across the finish line by the children of Beit Hayeled. The students ran in memory of Daniella Moffson, a 21-year-old Midreshet AMIT student who died as she lived, giving back to make the world a better place. While she was volunteering in Honduras at Global Brigades, her life was taken away when the bus in which she was traveling fell down a ravine. AMIT students and supporters raised over $60,000 to benefit the one hundred children of Beit Hayeled – a great victory for all involved!
