Excellence programs at AMIT Ma’alem Adumim High School for Boys are gaining momentum, and more students are enrolled than ever before. “To maximize the academic achievements of our students, we expose them to various fields taught at the university level, in the belief that this will pave the way to future post-secondary studies, “said Principal Daniel Be’eri.
As part of the excellence program, ninth graders recently took part in a series of workshops at Hebrew University laboratories. Students were taught about research in biology, chemistry and physics by university faculty members, for enrichment and as background for their own research they will be doing later on in the year. For the second year in a row, seventh grade students are doing research projects at the National Library. The students will learn about all the National Library has to offer and will research famous Jerusalem individuals, as part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Jerusalem.
