In preparation for summer vacation, the principal of AMIT Kfar Ganim Yeshiva in Petach Tikva, Rabbi Hagai Gross, gave his students a challenge entitled “Connect to the yeshiva wherever you are, even during vacation”. The challenge was to take a flag with the yeshiva’s logo and take pictures with it everywhere they travel, both in Israel and abroad.
Within a few hours, the flags were distributed and the pictures have started to come in. Rav Hagai described some of the pictures that he has received – students with the Yeshiva flag on the top of Mount Tzfachot, hoisted together with the “Ink Flag” sculpture in Eilat, hanging opposite the gate of Kibbutz Ein Hanatziv, and even diving under the sea.
Rav Hagai commented, “The students of AMIT Kfar Ganim take with them the love of yeshiva – anywhere they go, whether in Israel or abroad”.
