On behalf of AMIT, our Board, and all our supporters, we congratulate AMIT past president Debbie Isaac on her appointment as President of the American Zionist Movement (AZM). Debbie is the first woman to lead this organization in over 40 years.
The AZM is composed of 35 national Jewish Zionist organizations across a broad political, ideological and religious spectrum linking the American Jewish community and Israel. At this time of increased anti-Semitism and criticism of Israel, it is that much more important that the AZM has a strong leader with a proven track record, and Debbie is certainly that person.
At the same time, we commend and thank AMIT past president Francine Stein who is ending her term as Chairman of the Board of the AZM.
Thank you Debbie and Francine for everything you do for Israel and the Jewish people.
