AMIT Yehuda Afula students recently decided to show their gratitude to the school’s devoted maintenance team. For an entire day, students cleaned the school’s classrooms and communal areas in order to give the cleaners and other maintenance staff a break. Students worked energetically and cooperatively throughout the day, and at the end of the day they held a ceremony to express their appreciation to the maintenance team and give each member a gift and thank you letter. Uriah Lotati, a student who participated in effort, summed up the experience. “I realized how hard the cleaners work. My friends and I will remember this and keep our school clean from now on,” said Uriah.
