Noga Grady, an 8th grade student at AMIT Anna Teich Ulpanat Haifa, is the winner of the Haifa District Competition on Zionism held last week at the Krieger Auditorium in Haifa. Fourteen representatives from various schools in the Haifa district participated in the competition. The students were tested on their knowledge of the history of the Land of Israel and of the formation of the State of Israel.

Noga reached the district competition after a year of intensive learning guided by teachers Liat Mark, Avia Abergil and Shirley Turgeman. At the competition, Liat impressed the judges with her knowledge. Her responses earned her the maximum score and she won first prize.

Shira Tessler, Jr. High principal at AMIT Haifa commented, “We are proud of Noga. We are proud of her achievement, of her perseverance, and of the knowledge she acquired with the help of her dedicated teachers.”
