Students from the Lewis and Wolkoff Preparatory Army Program at the Gloria and Henry I. Zeisel and Family Junior College at Kfar Blatt recently returned from a seminar in Germany where they studied at some of the most advanced automotive colleges and toured the factories of some of the most impressive manufacturers.

The “grade 14” students spent five days in Frankfurt, Germany, where they took part in advanced training sessions and learned about diagnosing and operating gasoline and diesel engines and safety systems at one of the best automotive colleges in that city.

The AMIT students visited the Mercedes and Porsche manufacturing plants, met with experts in the automotive field, and got a taste of the rapidly developing world of transportation through museum exhibitions and the showrooms of some of the best car companies in the world.

“This trip points to how the Lewis and Wolkoff Preparatory Army Program at the Gloria and Henry I. Zeisel and Family Junior College encourages excellence,” said Moshe Uziel, director of the junior college.

“Our program is among the best and most technologically empowered in Israel in this field,” he added, thanking the AMIT network, the Petach Tikva municipality, the auto-body shops’ union, and car importers in Israel.
