AMIT Gwen Straus Student Wins National Talmud Competition

Amit Suleiman, a student at AMIT Gwen Straus Science High School, Kfar Batya, won the national Talmud competition. Suleiman won first place in the competition among religious and yeshiva high school students throughout Israel. Fifteen students competed in the finals, and Suleiman’s first place was followed by two students from Yeshivat Dimona who tied for second place.

Avraham Lifshitz, head of the Ministry of Education’s Religious Education Administration, congratulated the winners and said he was impressed and uplifted by their knowledge, expertise and in-depth understanding of the Talmud.
