Building the Future, One Line of Code at a Time

Students at Yeshivat AMIT Eitan in Ma'aleh Adumim presented their Al-powered educational application to the National Education Prize Committee.

The AMIT Eitan Cyber Team’s practical tool invites students to evaluate classes and learning programs and send feedback immediately to teachers, who can act on the data.

The collaborative project was created in the school’s Cyber Center, guided by a mentor, and designed with accessibility in mind. The intuitive interface makes it usable for younger students and diverse populations.
Gaining more than technical know-how, ninth grade students Shay Gershi and Daniel Amar genuinely enjoyed the meaningful teamwork, exchange of ideas, and the shared experience of refining the application.

That sense of ownership and growth is exactly what the school aims to cultivate. Rachel Engel, who leads the ecosystem program, explained that the cyber team reflects the values they work to instill every day – initiative, responsibility, and innovation. She noted that the students set a high standard and represented both their school and their city with pride.

The project is also part of a larger story unfolding in Ma’aleh Adumim. Rabbi Shlomi Dehan, the school’s principal, described the city’s focus on the individual students and giving each one the opportunity to succeed. Reframing excellence as an ongoing growth process and not a single achievement, the city’s leadership is prioritizing education and investing in the potential of every student.
