AMIT Gwen Straus Junior and Senior High School for Boys, Kfar Batya have been recognized as the one of the top schools in the country for their values-based teaching. This is a wonderful achievement for both tracks; the society and law track and the science and technology track which is overseen by director Rabbi Yoni Berlin.
The teachers will receive a cash prize for their academic and values-based success which were evaluated according to benchmarks set by the Ministry of Education.
The school administration shared the school is one of many schools to earn this honor from Israel’s Ministry of Education. All the schools that received this award were evaluated and recognized for advancing their students to exceptional levels academically, socially and in values from the previous academic year
Yaron Carmi, the principal of the Society and Law Track shared, “The educational staff work around the clock to extract the highest potential and abilities of each individual student, and to help them excel personally, academically, and in their values. I thank our partners at the Ministry of Education, the Ra’anana municipality, and the AMIT Educational Network for their support in guiding us at every minute.”
Rabbi Sagi Rosenbaum, the principal of the Science and Technology Track said, “I am proud of our teachers who demonstrate their dedication to each student on all levels which drives the school’s success. This is a joint effort of all our staff along with the municipality, the Ministry of Education and AMIT for the benefit of each student.”
This is the seventh year that the Ministry of Education has published this list and awards schools for their achievements.
