During a moving ceremony, twelfth grade students at the AMIT Ashkelon Technology Center received certificates in the course of hair design and beauty—a program which over the past two years has become a real center in the spirit of the innovative “Gogya” process for meaningful learning led by AMIT.
During their four years of study, the students studied professional hair styling, evening makeup, stage makeup, professional nail polish, and more. Their work culminated in the twelfth grade when students were asked to choose a tailored topic and accompanying project.
Ms. Meital Lugassi, coordinator of the program, congratulated the graduates saying, “From year to year, the trend builds more and more levels, and is renewed further—all thanks to the ideas and creativity of the students, and of course in large thanks to the great investment of the school under the leadership of principal Yitzchak Abergel, who enables students to develop in the most professional manner possible.”
In his address, Abargel sent the students on their path forward with warm wishes. “To our dear students who are completing their studies and leaving rich in knowledge and experience. They will never leave out hearts. This house of learning is a family.”
