Congratulations to the first class of AMIT Rehovot Pre-Army Technology Junior College Program! All twenty of the young men, currently doing their military service in the Israeli Air Force (IAF), have qualified for certification as electronics and computer practical engineers. The program’s success – and the success of each and every student – is due to the successful collaboration among the Pre-Army program’s dedicated faculty, the AMIT Network, the Rehovot Municipality, the IAF and the Ministry of Education.
The two-year AMIT Rehovot Pre-Army Junior College program was established in order to enable students to combine vocational and technological training with religious studies, as well as engage in an empowerment program, in preparation for significant military service in the Israeli Air Force and their lives beyond. The program is now entering its third year with an enrollment of 80 students.
