Brenda Horwitz-Prawer, principal of AMIT Wasserman High School for Girls in Maale Adumim was recognized for by the Chaim BePlus Organization at a ceremony that took place at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. The principal received the award for promoting financial education at her school. Twelfth grade students at AMIT Wasserman participate in a personal financial management course as part of their regular studies. The course is designed to give students the tools they need to make informed decisions on economic issues; become financially savvy; maintain a positive bank balance; spend money wisely; and know their rights as employees. AMIT Wasserman was one of eight schools from across the country to receive the Chaim BePlus award.
