Spirits were high at the Jerusalem Marathon on Friday morning, as 420 runners from Team AMIT pounded the pavement through the streets of Jerusalem. The runners included students, teachers, and staff from AMIT schools in Beersheva, Afula, Petach Tikva, as well as students from Midreshet AMIT and Frisch Beit Hayeled, all of whom came together for the meaningful goal of raising funds for the children of Beit Hayeled. Team AMIT ran in memory of Daniella Mofson, z”l, who was committed to acts of chesed and to putting a smile on the faces of everyone she encountered. Thank you to everyone who ran with Team AMIT or sponsored a runner—with your support the children of Beit Hayeled will be getting clothing, school supplies, summer camp, extracurricular activities and everything necessary to care for their physical and emotional needs. It was an unforgettable experience for all and the perfect way to start the weekend. Shabbat Shalom!
