Four out of the 20 outstanding high schools in Israel are part of the AMIT network, according to Madlan, an urban insight company that tracks real estate trends, school rankings, and other information on Israeli cities and towns.
Madlan’s school rankings are based on bagrut and meitzav standardized test scores.
AMIT Ginsburg Bar Ilan Gush Dan in Ramat Gan, was ranked the top religious high school in the country and ranked eighth overall out of all the high schools.
The other AMIT schools that made the list are Ulpanat AMIT Givat Shmuel, which has a 100% bagrut pass rate and previously has been ranked the top school in that city; AMIT Gwen Straus Junior and Senior High School for Boys in Ra’anana (both tracks), which has the highest number of students taking the highest level (5-point) math bagrut among religious high schools; and AMIT Anna Teich Ulpanat Haifa, which also has a 100% bagrut pass rate, a particularly impressive achievement as the school has a diverse student body and no admissions exam.
AMIT schools not only strive for academic excellence but level the playing field for all students throughout Israel by offering a STEM-centric curriculum and other courses that prepare students for 21st-century professions. Many of AMIT schools are located in the geographic periphery and serve a diverse population. For three years in a row, the AMIT network has been ranked #1 by the Ministry of Education in Israel.
Dr. Amnon Eldar, AMIT’s director general, congratulated all of the schools that made the cut and thanked their teachers and principals for their dedication and for helping each student achieve his or her personal best.
