AMIT Israel Spotlight Session #2: AMIT’s Community of Co-Ed and Secular Schools – Bridging Divides, Building Community

The national average of Israelis passing the matriculation exams is 70%, but as Liz explains, “AMIT sets the standard even higher, by having 85% of our kids pass the bagrut—something that we are really proud of and that we devote incredible resources to, to make sure it happens.”

Students from the electronics track of the AMIT Ofek Technological School won second place in a national competition held at Tel Aviv University under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and the Faculty of Engineering at Tel Aviv University.

The students of the AMIT Gould Hallel Jr. and Sr. High School for Girls in Rehovot participated this year in a course on women’s empowerment.

The Gogya center in Ra’anana, where AMIT teachers learn innovative methods of instruction that inspire their students, is a critical component of AMIT’s success in educating Israeli children.

This year, the AMIT Hammer Jr. and Sr. High School for Boys initiated a “Torah and Creativity” national competition, as part of an effort of the school staff to develop unique projects to empower students throughout the year.

Students from AMIT Sutker Modi’in Jr. and Sr. High School won first place in the “Young Entrepreneur” national competition last Thursday.
