AMIT Israel Spotlight Session #2: AMIT’s Community of Co-Ed and Secular Schools – Bridging Divides, Building Community

The AMIT Hammer Junior and Senior High School for Boys in Rehovot was granted the Education Ministry’s regional education award for Israel’s central district.

AMIT student Matan Eliahu has a knack for languages. After spending four years with his family in the United States, he returned to Israel speaking English and Spanish, in addition to his native Hebrew.

Dalalin Destau is only 16 years old, but he has already experienced more hardship and loss than some people do in a lifetime. Born in a village near Gondar, Ethiopia, Dalalin lost both of his parents as a small child.
