After a two-year period of living in the shadow of the Corona, at the Amit Kennedy Acre School in Acre, they chose to celebrate the Purim events as a sign of connection and love for the people. On Rosh Chodesh Adar, the students set out on the boys’ path, led by social education coordinator Ira Lahiani.
Later in the week the students went out for another charity activity for the community and came to the nursing home, homes of the elderly in the city, kindergartens and schools around the city to spread love and lots of joy.
In addition, the students collected a variety of unused objects, such as bags, books, games and tools – which were sold at the Shekel Market for the benefit of sending rations to soldiers and gifts to the needy.
At the same time, the studio students from the division’s classes went out to spread the joy in the young classes at Rambam School and in the Rimonim and Dror kindergartens. As part of the activity, the students prepared fun and educational experiential activities. At the same time, as every year, the school hosted Eyal School students for a happy and experience-filled Purim activity led by ninth-grade girls and educators Esther and Yafit. The girls’ council girls collected various sweets that they packed and distributed throughout Acre to needy families and individuals. Grade girls delighted the nursing home with fun Purim activities. The third age club in Acre also had fun and happy activities led by eleventh graders.
