The Ministry of Education, launched a new conservation curriculum for first graders. The Jerusalem Municipality chose the school because of its unique conservation program and environmental curriculum. The school grounds include a water reservoir, organic vegetable and spice gardens, compost areas, and water-saving irrigation. The program was developed at the Science and Technology Center of Tel Aviv University.
