The Ministry of Education’s Religious Education Administration is planning on expanding Gemara studies for girls based on the AMIT model. At AMIT Noga, girls in grades 7-12 elect to study Gemara twice a week in the mornings. The goal is twofold: create a framework for girls to study Gemara and make it possible for girls to take the 5-unit bagrut exam in Gemara – until now an option only available to boys.
