Position Summary
The Development Assistant provides administrative and operational support to AMIT Children’s Southeast Region and works closely with the Southeast Regional Director and Development Associate, donors, and lay leadership. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional in a mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage donor communications and acknowledgments
- Support in-person and virtual meetings and events
- Assist with event registration and on-site event support
- Process payments, invoices, receipts, and data entry
- Prepare spreadsheets and donor reports
- Coordinate travel, scheduling, and daily office operations
- Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of administrative or office support experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience (Raiser’s Edge a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
- Familiarity with the Jewish community is preferred
