Saturday Night, May 20th
11:30 p.m. - Group Flight: El Al #8 departing JFK Airport

ARRIVAL DAY – Sunday, May 21st
5:00 p.m. – Group flight arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. Group flight transfer from Ben Gurion to Jerusalem.

Let’s get the festivities get started. Join us as we inaugurate the Yom Yerushalayim Mission with a sumptuous opening dinner at the David Citadel Hotel. Hear a firsthand account from special guest, Yoel Bin-Nun, one of the seven paratroopers who fought for the liberation of Jerusalem in 1967, as depicted in the book Like Dreamers by Yossi Klein Halevi.

Monday, May 22nd
Breakfast on your own at hotels and a chance to catch up on some sleep

Discover how AMIT is leading an educational revolution in Israel throughout our 110 schools. Meet with some of our leading principals and students and understand the important role that STEM, robotics, and cyber-security are playing in AMIT’s core curriculum throughout the entire network. Hear how AMIT works with the IDF to educate and prepare our students for elite roles within the military.

Lunch

Special visit to Har Herzl and learn about the stories of Israel’s iconic heroes.

6:30 p.m. – AMIT Exclusive Yom Yerushalayim dinner with a member of the Knesset at Binyanei Ha’Uma. Join with AMIT supporters and friends from around the world as we begin the festivities for Yom Yerushalayim.

Yom Yerushalyim Opening Program – Sponsored by World Mizrachi Movement at Binyanei Ha’Uma.
Celebrate with hundreds of leaders from the international community as we gather to hear from top dignitaries and leaders throughout the world Jewish community. Speakers to include: President Reuven Rivlin; Naftali Bennett, Minister of Education; and Lord Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, former Chief Rabbi of the U.K.

Also enjoy a live musical presentation

Tuesday, May 23rd
Breakfast at hotels, on your own

9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.Your voice matters! Participate in a series of interactive workshops on critical issues facing the Jewish Community, sponsored by World Mizrachi Movement.

Something for Everyone – Concurrent sessions will be held with multiple tracks – lectures, panel discussions, and presentations on the spiritual, political, educational, security, and economic challenges and opportunities facing Israel and Jerusalem in the 21st Century. As the foremost innovative educational network in Israel, AMIT was invited and will be leading the discussion on education in Israel, how it is creating enriched academic opportunities, and how it is shaping the values of its students through its unique batei chinuch program.

Free Time – Time to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of Jerusalem before the festivities begin. Lots of shopping and great places to experience the rich history of the holy city.

AMIT Yom Yerushalayim Celebration at Teresa at the Begin Museum – After experiencing the euphoria of the anniversary celebrations, join us for a spectacular dinner overlooking the old city. Feel the vibe of this most exciting evening as you dine al fresco overlooking the majestic old city and experience the excitement of the moment on the eve of Yom Yerushalayim.

Wednesday, May 24th
Breakfast at hotels, on own

7:30 a.m. – Join AMIT and Mizrachi World Movement for a meaningful Yom Yerushalayim while davening at the Kotel followed by a special Yom Yerushalayim ceremony to honor the heroic soldiers seen in the iconic ’67 picture of the Reunification of Jerusalem.

Afterwards, join us for an engaging walking tour of some of the most special and meaningful sights within the old city. The choice is yours, choose from multiple tracks covering all eras of Jerusalem’s history in and around the Old City.

Tours include:

  • In the Footsteps of the ’67 Paratroopers
  • Rooftop tour of the different Old City Quarters
  • City of David
  • And much more!

Lunch

4:30 p.m.Stand Up and Be Counted! – AMIT will be leading the way as we march in the spectacular Yom Yerushalayim Flag Parade with thousands of students, youth groups, and organizations representing all of Israel from new Jerusalem to the Old City.

After an exhilarating day there will be a Light buffet dinner at David Citadel Hotel

Thursday, May 25th:
Breakfast at hotels, on own

One last hurrah! Experience a VIP tour of one of the newest attractions in Jerusalem.

12:30 p.m. – Group flight transfer to Ben Gurion Airport

4:00 p.m. – Group flight: El Al #11 departing Ben Gurion Airport

8:40 p.m. – Group flight arrival at JFK Airport
