AMIT Kennedy Junior and Senior High School, Acco

AMIT Kennedy caters to students who have academic challenges as well as those who are on a high academic level.

AMIT Kennedy serves the Acco and Western Galilee area and has approximately 400 students. The school caters both to students who have academic challenges and those who are academically successful. The school stresses communal engagement through a wide range of activities. The matriculation pass rate this year was the highest ever – 90% of their students received their matriculation diploma! Only nine years ago, the typical pass rate at the school was 35%. Upon graduation from AMIT Kennedy, 100% of the students enlist in the IDF or national service. The school also has two new programs: Atuda Leadership in Science and Technology Program – This enrichment program exposes students to advanced classes in science and technology, and paves the way for them to become future leaders in these fields. Magshimim Cyber Program – This program is for advanced students who wish to study cyber technology in high school. AMIT Kennedy is now in its second year of participating in AMIT’s “GOGYA” program. GOGYA serves as a Center for Excellence in teacher training, and was designed to represent AMIT’s modern school of the future, the first of its kind in Israel.
