Weaving the Strands of History: A Purim Saga for Our Time
After nine years in the Soviet Gulag, Natan Sharansky emigrated to Israel and emerged as a leader in Israeli society and politics. His daughter, Rachel, will speak about communities that fought for the freedom of Soviet Jewry and draw parallels to both the story of Purim and contemporary issues.
