AMIT Anna Teich Ulpanat Haifa was ranked #4 on the Ministry of Education’s recently published list of the top-ranking high schools in the country.

AMIT Anna Teich Ulpanat Haifa was ranked #4 on the Ministry of Education’s recently published list of the top-ranking high schools in the country. This list is ranked according to percentage of students making honors’ roll, matriculation pass rate, and school dropout rate.

This is the fifth year in a row that the Ulpana achieved a 100% pass rate on the matriculation exam. According to the Ministry of Education, the excellence rate (“honor roll”) at the school is 32% and the dropout rate is less than .75%. Ulpanat AMIT Anna Teich is unique in the list of top schools as it is the only school on the list that accepts all students who apply and therefore has a very heterogeneous population.

The principal of the Ulpana, Rabbi Yaron Ben-Chaim, said that the success of the students is a result of the dedicated educational staff. The teachers don’t give up on any student and guide every student, both advanced and remedial, with complete dedication, helping them to achieve their potential. He emphasized, “The educational staff feels a deep sense of responsibility for the success of its students, not only academically but also in terms of inculcating Jewish values together with a love of the Jewish people and of Israel, through the empowerment and personal development of each student”.
