2008 President's Circle Evening
Ya Gotta Have Art
By Amy Oppenheim

This March, the 2008 President's Circle Evening was held at the New York City Asia Society and Museum. With co-chairs Jewel and Ted Edelman and Hattie and Arthur Dubroff at the helm, this annual event was a tremendous success. President's Circle Chairs Audrey Lookstein and Barbara Rascoff also played key roles in ensuring the evening's success along with valuable input from the President’s Circle Council.

2008 PRESIDENT'S CIRCLE SLIDESHOW PRESENTATION

Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner in the indoor garden court and viewed two beautiful exhibits of Chinese and Japanese prints, paintings, ceramics, metalwork and sculpture. A video highlighting several AMIT graduates illustrated some of the impressive results that President’s Circle gifts have helped AMIT achieve.

Achievement was a major theme of the evening, and this event was a way of thanking the members for their dedication to helping the children of AMIT realize their potential. So impressive was the evening, that as a result, President’s Circle was joined by eight new members. President’s Circle is made up of a core group of donors who, through a yearly minimum commitment of $5,000, make the significant work of AMIT possible and directly impact the children being educated and cared for by AMIT in Israel.
